The FJR is supposed to be one of the sportiest sport-touring bikes out there! Most people say it handles very well for its size.
Obviously, the main reasons it feels a lot less sporty is because of its longer wheelbase, a lot more weight and more relaxed suspension geometry.
I would say to bring the bike to Gianni at MotoGP and get the suspension set up properly. It can really change the character of the bike completely!
