Looking for track time with others!

Hello everyone,
I just registered today. I am from Plattsburgh NY. I was on my R1 putting air in the tires and met a man from montreal who told me about this site. Looks great so far.
I just had my first track day last week at New Hampshire International Raceway. I took the Penguin racing school then had the opportunity to take over 80 laps on the 12 corner road course. WOW!! I had a great time.
I am looking for information on getting some track time in the southern Quebec area and maybe get hooked up with a group of guys that ride together.
I have been riding for 22 years and consider myself pretty good on the twisties

Hope to hear from someone soon. Summer is very short. I am traveling to New Hampshire on the 29th of July for a track day. I have a covered 22" trailer and am willing to take along others.

Hey there,

The next track day around here (MTL) is July 31st at St. Eustache, and then another one on August 8, which is actually a race day but with a street group running a track day. Aside from St. Eustache there arent really any tracks around here that would be worth you coming down for.
There are alot of track days in Ontario (about 4hrs from Montreal). Most of them are listed here http://www.ontariotrackdays.com/ These are all track days that are hosted by different groups, and most are really well run.
I'd be really interested in doing a track day at the NH Track. I deffinatley cant make the one on the 29th, but keep me posted of any others! If you decide to go to any of the track days around here, lemme know. Maybe we can hook up.

In ontario they have a very nice site for track day in Ontario: www.ontariotrackdays.com
I did many times with Pro6, and it is very cool and professional. Mosport is a very nice high speed track. Shannonville is between Montreal and Toronto. A new track is in construction in Ottawa area, for next year maybe... www.calabogiemotorsports.com

St-Eustache is a technical track, but the pavement is rought.

I have been looking at so many tracks and track days lately I forget what I am looking for sometimes

...Anyways, I believe there is a track day in late July @ Mont tremblant. And I will be going to the race there on August 20th and possibly the newly announced race in Montreal.
I routinely travel to Montreal (about once every week) to pick up products from my supliers.

Hey,

I havent heard of any track days at Mt. Tremblant in July buy I could be wrong. Probably am...it happens often with blondes! We'll be there for the races in August too, so we'll have to hook up for a drink.
You should try and make it to the track day at St. Eustache. It's a small track, but good for beginners/novice riders.
