Toseland signs for Honda
The Sheffield rider, who won the title in 2004 on a works Ducati, was sacked by the Ducati Xerox team after failing to retain the title this year.
Toseland, who finished fourth in 2005, was replaced by former world champion Troy Bayliss at the end of the season. However, the 25-year-old has now been confirmed as a Honda rider, replacing the MotoGP-bound Chris Vermeulen.
