so i just bought a ninja 650r and love it but i cant stand the handlebars, theyre WAY to upright. i looked on ninja650shop.com and saw some sport bars but theve been sold out all summer. was wondering if theres any other options for this bike? clip ons would be nice but i read somwhere id have to get the full racing body work for them to fit right for steering lock.

Kawasaki Ninja 650R motorcycle and Z1000
Je me suis assis sur un Z1000 avec ce quidon et la position est entre la position d'une vraie sport et la position d'origine, mais plus proche de la position sportive. Une excellente modification pour ce genre de moto selon moi. |

Pretty much any 7/8" handlebar will fit. You can get them anywhere, and they are usually under $50. Check out "Superbike bars". They are lower than stock. Even "drag bars" are perfectly flat, if you want really low.

Go to anyplace that sells motocross accessories. That's what I did on my ZRX and you can get any with you want and any angles.
On the south shore in Ste-Catherine there is Duroy a KTM dealer that usualy has a lot. |

I think the SV 650 Clip-on would be a nice fit , they bolt under the upper triple clamp but rise up to just over that same clamp ...they are 41 mm ( fork tube diameter )...same as EX 650 ...
