1997 Gsxr 600 For Sale

Hi fellow riders I am putting up my 97 gxsr 600 with 2003-2002 fairings for sale. I bought this bike as a VGA stolen/recovered as a project. I stripped the bike down to the frame over last winter and started my rebuild. Pics below.

I had the bike up and running well in the summer, but then while i was on the phone sitting down beside my bike a SQ unmarked car came up to me and gave me a 48 hour inspection. I had no windshield on the bike it was getting tinted and the bike had no flashers and my bracket for the exhaust pipe broke that day so i had the pipe being held up with metal wire. I could not make the 48 hour inspection so to avoid getting a ticket i had to declare to the SAAQ the bike as "scrap" status. I was told the fine could be up to 700$ if i did not go to the inspection. So This bike needs an inspection to be put back on the road. Here are some pics.

Alot of work and time has been put into this bike and i cannot afford to have it anymore. This is the perfect easy project for someone else to complete. The things left to do on the bike as of now are the bike needs a bracket to hold up the exhaust pipe, the rear bracket for the gas tank which was 25$ online, the rear tire has a slow leak thanks to the old port and a pretty crappy plug. I am asking 1600 FIRM if you want the bike without the fairings or some other type of offer let me know. If you have any questions dont be afraid to ask. Nothing to hide here.
