**VENDU** 1991 Bandit 400. $2500 FIRM. Very rare! Excellent beginner bike!

I am looking to buy a ZZR-600, so I am putting my Bandito for sale. It was my first bike, and it was my BABY, so I took VERY good care of it. The sale is not 100% yet, as I still have to confirm my purchase of the ZZR...but it is 90% sure....

The bike is a 1991 Suzuki Bandit 400. Yes...400cc. Not many of them were imported into Canada, so it is a VERY rare and unique bike. It weighs around 360lbs, engine is 4cyl with 14,000 rpm redline and the power is around 60hp, so it is pretty fast and handles GREAT! It is perfect for beginners, good as a city bike or for weekend runs up in the mountains. And because it is 399cc, it falls in the lower class of motorcycles for the SAAQ, so registration is only $288

Insurance, $89!!! Very cheap!

Since I got it I have done the following:

-Valve check/adjust
-New front brake pads
-Painted wheels dark grey (white gets dirty too fast!)
-New brake fluid
-New coolant
-Changed oil/filter to Motul synthetic (I just did another oil/filter change yesterday for the new season! Thats $40 right there!)
-New tires Michelin Pilot Activ
-New windscreen
-New handlebar (from Ducati Monster)
-New grips
-Custom frame sliders

It has 60,000 km on it now, I bought it with 54,000 km. Since I had it, it has not been dropped or in any type of accident. Before this, the previous owner only used it 1000km, and before him, it belonged to a girl. Since it is from 1991, there are signs of wear. The paint is OK, but not as shiny as a brand new bike. There is a small dent in the tank (size of a penny). The tank has NO RUST inside. The chain and sprockets look very good, dont need to change. I charged the battery, did a fresh oil/filter change and took it for a test ride last night. It's ready for the season!

I am asking $2500 FIRM. It's a rare bike and in VERY good condition for what it is. With all the new parts, time and energy put into the bike, I think its a good deal (and a LOT more fun than the GS500 or EX500!!)

50hp is the Euro (restricted) version....ours is 59hp
