Shannonville Track Day

Since the last track day went so well, Im thinking of doing another one....

Just wondering how many of you would be interested. Same idea as last time, Max 30 people, 10 per group. Except I have to raise the price to $110 or 115 (I'll confirm) to cover the cost of proff. Marshalls. Im looking at the first week of September.

With three groups of 10 we should get tons of track time. We run 15 minute sessions. At the last one we had so much track time that some people were actually sitting out sessions.

Shannonville is 3 hrs from Mtl. There are hotels near by at a discount rate for shannonville ($74). Some people just leave MTL early early am.

That sounds intesresting. I've never been on a track before. What do I need in order to be allowed to run? I do have a textile jacket and pants. Do I need to mod the bike in order to make it safer?

Lady600S, You may end up killing me! I just spoke to Shannonville and the rest of my team. We have two dates we can play with and they are the 1st and 8th?! I will try for the 1st so that you can come.

I will know for sure tomorrow afternoon.

VFR_Rouge....Our group 1 ranges from beginners to intermediates, so you should be fine. Personally, I dont recommend textile, BUT it is allowed. You will also need gloves and boots. They dont have to be race boots...as long as they cover your ankle.
For the bike..Street bikes are fine, providing they are in good mechanical condition. No prep required other than taping your lights and removing your mirrors.

k_Mart...the 10th? Tremblant right?? LUCKY you! I want to go, but it is WAY over my budget
