Par défaut Saturday morning crash ends the season early

This is my first real post on this site. I registered yesterday, realising that the season for riding was almost over and I would have more time to talk about bikes then actually be riding. I got up early to go for what I thought might be my last ride of the season. I didn't think it would be for this reason.
I left my parking, went about 500 yards then the rear wheel locks up (not sure why) I get trown and the bike flips over twice and comes to a stop over 100 feet from me.
A few good samaritan who watched the fall from there living rooms came out to help, we put the bike back on 2 wheels, parked it on the side of the road and then I walked home to lick my wounds.
The bright side of the story: my girlfriend is taking VERY good care
The bad side: the bike is almost destroyed

Wow man, talk about a strange crash ! Good thing you don't seem to be hurt too much, too bad for the bike though... now you have all winter to fix it up

That's a rather destructive way to put an end to a season! Why did it get locked? Something jammed in it? Get well bud and enjoy the extra attention!

I haven't gone back to see the bike yet, so I'm not sure why it locked up. The rearsets broke off and so did the clutch leiver so I can't even put it in newtral and push it home. I need to find a towing that can bring it to my shop on Monday.

"Baciguent" and "dexidin 4" are your friends to keep it clean and germ free. Wash it with Dexidin in the shower and dab a thick coat of baciguent afterwards. Both are available at your local pharmacy without prescription. Depending on the size of your wounds, sterile **NON-ADHERENT** pads kept in place by first-aid tape and sports wraping worked wonder for me. Regular sterile pads will work too, just get ready to sing the opera when you take it off! As much as possible leave it to the open air so it can heal up.

One last thing, if possible wait until tomorrow to take a shower!

Nice... Does that heal up with no scars?
Whenever I crash and don't tell it to my mom, she allways finds out with the scars
