Painting rims

Would like to change my rims from green to silver or black should i strip the green paint and then paint them or paint over the original colour and what type of paint should i use tks.

2 words: powder coating

it's the best thing for your rims, this way, you will not have any stone chip and they will last forever!

I think if you do a search, previous thread discussing these topics will come up. Around $150-200 per wheel, if I remember correctly, depending on the shop you end up going to. And you have to strip the wheels (take off the brakes, cush drive, bearings, etc., because powder coating necessitates putting them in the oven to "cook" the paint over them.

But its a very nice and durable finish. Better than paint for sure.

Ordinary painting process requires the same for a good and long lasting finish also!

That's pretty funny, cause I was thinking of painting my black rims in green.

et cé bon pour tout le monde, je connais rien là dedans... mais je peux vous donner ses coordonnées pour que vous puissiez vous arranger ensemble...
