to stager or not to stager?

Crossed a brp spyder on the 125 today. The guy was ridding with another buddy... i think an sv650.

I guess the guy on the spyder had great aspirations of being just like the "real" bikes and he kept one wheel on the painted line to keep the stager pattern.

Is that really such a good idea?

it's a stupid idea buy a stupid guy...

it's like always running over the line with a car.

spyder and t-rez should ride at the back of the formation...just like car....lol

I agree that since it's considered a motorcycle by the SAAQ, the guy is supposed to ride in a zig-zag formation. But on the other hand, he's not supposed to cross the center line. That could be dangerous. We are supposed to ride in a zig-zag only to stop cars from insert themselves between motorcycles. The Spyder is big enough to take up the whole road, he should not ride zig-zag.

motorcycle with side-car don't take the zigzag formation...so the spyder should do!

I agree, althought a nice machine, I don't think it's a motorcycle and like the T-rex it should stay between the lines NOT on it!!!
