La transformation de ma EX500

Hello everyone!!

I wanted to share my joy with one and all on the transformation of my bike. Here's my story...

Here it is the day i bought it. I picked it up in Gatineau in November. I had to rent a truck because 1) I had no license, not even a theory, and 2) it was too cold for anyone to ride back.



Here it is on track day at Mecaglisse. The only modification I made was to add a bottom cowling (that i bought on ebay for 35$ shipping included)


So transformation begins by repainting it all one color. The engine still needs a good cleaning though:


I cut the rear fender and added rim stripes:


Made a trunk:


The tire only rubs rarely when the suspension is REALLY compressed, like hitting a LARGE pot-hole. If I see it becomes a problem, I'll have Red-line move it slightly higher


Added a tank pad:


And the finished product, after a well-deserved engine detail, is:

Vraiment ecoeurant le changement... Elle a l'aire d'une moto neuve. J'ai vraiment été impressionné par la job de SLIMCO et de LUCKY STRIPE. Je les suggère fortement.

Yup... very true... I have not had a chance yet, but I will seal it with silicone from the inside. to prevent water from coming in.

Take a close look at the picture...............everywhere that you can see the daylight is a way for the water to jump in the trunk

Ninja, Kawasaki and EX500 stickers are missing

I actually CHOSE not to put them.
What do you guys think? Should I add Kawasaki in white vinyl right above the red line on the gas tank??
