can i put a 180 60 17 rear tire on my 1998 kawasaki ninja zx6r, the stock rear tire is supposed to be 170 60 17??? i would need to know soon to order thanks!

Not a 180/60 , but a 180/55 17 , if a a wheel wide 5.5 inch (inside) bead to bead, and space for it in swing arm permitted.

If différence, it's not a big différence, for calculate 170 divided by 60 % = height

Just 3 millimeter more lower for 180/55

i just need to make sure its going to fit into the swingarm, not going to touch, i do not really care for the difference of speed or mileage, as long as its close, so u think that 180 55 will be good for that?

The speed indicate more kmh than the really speed just by 1 or 2 km, same as a tire half used.

look on each side of your tire right now... if there is 5mm or more space before the tire touch anything ...you should be alright.

pretty sure there's no probleme to put a 180 on a zx6r 1998 even though that most commonly used tire on the market are available in 170 (Pirelli diablo, Michelin pilot power, Bridgestone BT16)
