Does anyone have info on lowering a bike.
I want to lower my Z1000. Any input is appreciated.
What do I need to change ? Where ? How ?

There is a cheap way of doing it and it can lower up 3" . If you go too much on the rear you have lower the front . I did it to my vn800 or you buy a kit.

But if you go about 2" then you're ok.

Goto Ronayers website and clik on FICHE and choose your bike.

This link should show the shockabsorber.,
on the very bottom, there is a hole and a bolt, well if you inlarge that hole upward by 1/2 inch, it should give you around 2". (enlarging meaning having same diameter on the above)

There was is site where it showed with pics for an vn800.

Adjustment tech has a kit for the Z1000

Take a look at: http://www.adjustmenttech.com/
Clic on the image on the left of the ZX7, then clic again on the same image on the next page and then scroll down to the cc185 model
