Problem: 1997 ZX9 with Black smokes

i jsut bought this ZX9R 97's
it has very low km on it.. the guy who i bought it from only ride 3000km for the past 4 years.. it was garage kept the whole time
anyways here is the deal. I do not know if it has been sitting for too long
basically the guy only chage the oil once a year so 4 times he did and thats' about it.. everything else remains the same as when he bought it 4 years ago. And now here is the problem.. it shoots a lot of black smokes when i shift up the gear.. and from what my friends told me.. it only does that after i shift the gears and after that it's alright..
i would like to know if someone here can give me a hint of whats going on with my engine.. it runs perfect but since it's shooting black smokes i assume it's burning oil.. what can i do to prevent that? someone plz help

As tu un exhaust, jet-kit, etc?

sorry i dont' understand french..
but to answer your question (i am guessing)
no the bike is complete stock, no exhaust, no jetkit nothing..
i bought the bike the way it is and other than the rear CF flashers, rest remain stock.

time to clean the carb... !

should be around 100$ to clean them and ajust then in a near shop...

are you sure the problem is the carb?
coz if it is i am gonna go ahead and get it done this weekend

Black smoke is because you are running rich. Get the carbs cleaned and synched and you should be fine after that.
