Hard to turn the key to "On"

I have a Ninja ZX6 93, and I have a hard time getting the key to turn to "On". I heard that it is chronic in this bike brand, is anyone else having this problem? What could I possibly do about it?

I have this on my R6, I just figgle it and it turns. You'll probably get better at it too

i had the same problem on my z750 when it was new but apparently after a few month the problem disapear

The bike is a 93, so I don't think it will just dissapear.

I pose it as a "anti-theft" system when struggling with it in public

graphite lubricant ... I've seen this a few times on mine ... I stay calm, and play with it a few seconds. It ends up working.

Same on my R6, just push forward before/while turning the key.
