j'ai pas envie de me claquer le traffique de la journée du loup...

Qui a vu de quoi avait l'air les routes l'autre bord de la frontière?

I was thinking the 105 down to newport, starting in St-Alban.

Then back on our side of the border, coming back on the 112.

Last year, we went even further down south instead and came back through burlington..

Opened to suggestions. If you have never seen the 105, you should love it. Scenery is great, roads are wide asphalt not bumpy.

Let me know. Departure around 10 am?

If you guys hit the States, I'm in. How much distance you guys wanna cover? I'm open to suggestions as I don't really know which roads are worth riding in Vermont.

I've been on a ride in Vermont a long time ago, and all I remember is smooth pavement and nice twisties. I wish we had pavement like that in Quebec...

Ive been to the states many times (used to work there ) but I have never explored Vermont and upstate New York. Apart from the 87 and 89 I dont know the small roads so I am open to anything.

Hows 10 am at the Julep sound ?

10 am sounds good. I hope the weather will be nice, though.

I think we're better off hitting Vermont that NY. I know someone that has done some riding over there, so I'll ask him for suggestions of some interesting roads.

hey guys, it's 450 to 550 km, depending on what we choose.

The plan would be to cross in rouses point, go down to st-albans in new york and take the 105.

That takes us through vermont, all the way to new hampshire. Then we can go south or come back in Magog.

10 am at Julep, gas tank full.

We hit champlain, the 10, the 35 all the way up to the border, than take a left and there is a little little little border control point with nobody.

I know some cool twisty roads there.. it could be fun.. that of course includes food in the middle of the day, because I am always hungry.

Sh*t... It seems that it's supposed to be raining the whole weekend. Anyways, let's hope that Meteomedia will once again prove their unreliabilty and that we'll get some decent wheather.

I check with Meteomedia a couple of times a day and I have come to find they are wrong about the weather at least 60% of the time.

We'll wait and see.
