Is it true that if you are over 25 years old and have the 6A learners license that you dont have to ride with someone who has had their license for 2 years or is this not true? What is the exact rules?

It's not true indeed.
I was >25 when I had my apprentice license. Same rule for everyone whether you're 18, 25, or 60 y.o. Maybe there are some exceptions for people who passed a specific kind of license 6+ years ago when there was no open road test for the license though, I am not sure.. |

It is false. I am 35 and I will still have to ride with someone with 2 years experience for 7 months. If you are under 25, the probation period is 2 years:
Minimum age: 16. Persons who are under age 18 require the written consent of the person with parental authority (father, mother, legal guardian etc.) Have held a class 6R* learner’s licence for at least 1 month, have passed a motorcycle driving course given at a school recognized by CAA-Québec or the Quebec Safety League and must have passed a test on a closed track. Have held a class 6A learner’s licence for at least 7 months and have passed a road test. Have held a probationary licence for 2 years or until age 25, whichever comes first. You must hold a driver’s licence that corresponds to one of the following classes, based on the cylinder size of the motorcycle you wish to drive: Class 6A: all motorcycles Class 6B: cylinder size of 400 cc or less Class 6C: cylinder size of 125 cc or less These licences also authorize the holder to drive vehicles in class 6D and class 8.

The only difference with somebody under 25 is that they only have 4 (or is it 5) points on there license, and a 0.00000 limit in blood alcool content, but only if they haven't had a valid drivers licence (car, truck, anything) for 2 years or more.
