Dude! We’ve been doing this manifestation thing for too many years and the SAAQ doesn't seem to give a rat's ass. With all the d respect; I believe is time to take real action. An announced manifestation that takes place on a Sunday morning and that barely gets noticed by the media isn't going help the cause. Unfortunately, I believe that in the case of the SAAQ only disruption would generate attention. I don’t mean violent disruption but nonetheless disruption. Disruption will definitely bring the SAAQ to the negotiation table.

As long as we choose to remain "civilized" the SAAQ will continue to ignore our point of view. I’m lucky and blessed that I can afford both the registration of my bike and its insurance. Nevertheless, the cost of registration is pure madness! I find the registration increases to be abusive, irresponsible but most importantly segregational. I would definitely participate in some sort of manifestation but it would depend on who organizes it and what the targets and actions of that manifestation are.

Lets do something! Something big! Lets join together and stand up for our rights! Because otherwise nous sommes simplement des moutons…

And what kind of disruption do you suggest?

I don't think a public thread in a public forum on the World Wide Web is the best place to brain storm about this type of subject :-)

What I can tell you thought is that nothing comes easy, and that if we really want something we must work for it especially because with the SAAQ it feels as if we were in the land of the def, the blind, the mute and the dumb.

History is full of examples on how other people have dealt with similar problems. However, the main obstacle that I see in our quest is us. Let me explain: it seems to me that although many people are unhappy about the registration increases, a lot less people are willing to show their disagreement outside of weekends and evenings. And that my dear friend is what gives its strength to the SAAQ: lots of talking not much action.

For my own, it seems that people talk now and also start something, as per many forums I used to visit this winter.

As per a well-known association says: "la force du loup, la meute". Then we'll see next season if people want to do something instead of only lots of talking, to be with the pack and not only follow the crowd because we can stop hemorrhages if we are a pack!

Pour ce qui est du résultat,si on fait de quoi OUI il va avoir du changement......Il y a un bout des camionneurs avaient bloquer la 20 pour une subvention quelquonque,résultat ?? Ils l'ont eu....tenez vous et vous verrez le changement.....faites juste parler et subisser!!!

20 motos ne changeront rien mais réunissez 200 ca va déja paraitre et montrer le mécontentement......

les resultat je ne sais pas! mais si toute les region monte au baricade... p-t que sa servira !!!

moi je passe a l'Action pas de temps a perde avec le monde qui sostine! tu embarques pour la cause ou non c ton choix!
